BMW 5 Series Review

What car you dream to get it? If you want driving pleasure of course you must read this.. The BMW 5 Series.

The hallmarks of exclusivity: the BMW Individual 5 Series Sedan sets new standards in athleticism and dynamics - and not forgetti
ng luxurious equipment. The highest of demands are realised one to one, turning the dream of a perfect automobile into a reality.

For 2007, the 5 Series offers two new options.
1. BMW's Night Vision safety system uses a thermal-imaging camera to highlight pedestrians
andanimals on dark roads
2. HD Radio is designed to bring CD-quality digital audio to radio broadcasts.

Also included in 2007 BMW 5 Series Xenon adaptive headlights are now standard on the 530i and above. The xenon high-intensity discharge headlights offer a brighter, more intense, more white light that appears blue when we're used to seeing halogen lights with a warmer, relatively yellow light. Adaptive means the lenses turn slightly with the steering, throwing light around a curve in the direction of travel.

Now in its fourth year on the market, the styling of the current 5 Series models has become familiar, perhaps less jarring than it was when first revealed. And while there are no significant changes for the 2007 model year, the 5 Series is anything but stale. For 2006, BMW introduced new engines across the board, including a high-tech magnesium alloy six cylinder for the 525i and 530i and a larger, more powerful V8 for the 550i.

As such, the 5 Series is loaded with technology, and some of its systems have a dark side. The i-Drive point-and-click control system, for example, takes time and energy to learn, and drivers who aren't willing to invest the energy, or those who just prefer to keep things simple, might want to look at a competitor. But those who place a premium on driving satisfaction should start their shopping her.

As the conclusion BMW 5 Series mixes comfort, performance, high-tech features and passenger-friendly accommodations in a relatively compact package. Yet with Active Steering, Active Roll Stabilization , the 5 Series is more obviously engineered with an emphasis on the driving. It's remarkably well balanced, and satisfying to own and drive. Even with its love/hate exterior styling, the 5 Series remains a luxury sedan benchmark.

Keep Your Own Sports Car In Top Performing Condition

It really isn't that difficult to Make sure that your sports car is in top shape all of the time. The only thing you have to do is take the time and effort to do some preventive maintenance to head off the aggravation, hassle, and expense of taking it to a mechanic shop when the engine suddenly locks up or the "idiot lights" in the instrument panel light up.

The maintenance records are crucial for higher end sports cars such as BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus. Everyone that wants a car can't afford to buy a sports car from one of these companies but here are some hints and tips that will help you maintain your sports car no matter what it is.

It is always sensible to inspect the brakes, tires, check the oil and the steering system as well to make sure that everything is normal before going for a drive. If you hear a sound or noise that was not there before while out driving the automobile, take it to your automobile mechanic or local repair shop to have it checked into.

Have the auto-mechanic look into all the parts of the ignition system. The spark plugs should be inspected since their condition is a very good indicator of how the engine is performing overall. These days with the advances in technology they should be changed every 100,000 miles but you should still be checking them every 30,000 miles just to be certain that everything is OK.

Due to the fact that the rotor and distributor cap are made of plastic which deteriorate over time due to normal wear and tear they need to be checked regularly. To make certain that these don't casue any problems when starting the vehicle have them checked on a regular basis.

The various filters act as a preventatives against rust and other harmful objects that could hurt the performance of your vehicle. There several filters such as those for oil or fuel. These filters should be checked frequently - about every 3,000 miles.

Keep tack of the automobile's mileage by computing the amount of fuel bought and the amount of miles driven as exhibited by the odometer before and after you fill your tank. If you discover a sudden and noticeable change in the number of miles per gallon, be proactive and take the car to the mechanic shop for analysis.

If your car's sensor lights come on,you should be on the safe side and pull the car over to the side of the road call for help. The lights are there for a reason and there is a chance that the trouble can be relieved there or if it is a serious matter it may have to towed to a repair shop.

Sport Car Review : Misubishi Lancer

Are you searching for sport car? The perfomance car and not very expensive ? Here i have for you... Maybe you know about mitsubishi lancer for around the year Lancer has returned, sleeker, stronger, better. The new Lancer is Mitsubishi Motors answer to all that is tired and cliche about sports sedans car. Featuring a bold design surrounding a heart as agile as it is powerful, the Lancer's entrance is anything but tentative. Place your hand on the hood, and you may still hear the echoes of the rally.

Features

The exterior look very sporty car.Lancer certainly looks new. It starts with a shark nose front-end treatment that the company plans to propagate across the model line. Compared to the last generation, the 2008 Lancers have a longer wheelbase, but a shorter length; they're taller and wider, yet lighter in weight. The new shape is shown to its best advantage in top-level, GTS trim. The side view shows a beveled, high-waisted beltline, capped by a curvy, coupe-like roof. Flared wheel wells are packed full with the 10-spoke, 18-inch alloys standard on GTS. The tail is tall and sawed off short, topped with a wide wing.

Perfomance
However you choose to drive, the pure excitement of the rally courses that gave birth to Lancer is unmistakable. It’s in the hum of power rising from beneath the hood, and the exquisite smoothness of the CVT as it shifts up and down. Once Lancer has spoken to you, you’ll understand.

2.0L Aluminium Block Engine
Absolute thrill in a 4-cylinder p
ackage. The Lancer 2.0-liter powerhouse uses a lightweight aluminum block for optimum performance as it puts out 155PS to take control of city streets and open highways alike. MIVEC technology provides optimal valve timing at both low and high rev ranges, to give you the most of every curve and straightaway out there.

MIVEC Technology
MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing and lift Electronic Control) is an exclusive technology that adjusts intake timing for optimal performance across the rev range. At low ranges, MIVEC provides on-demand acceleration for quicker starts, while higher ranges receive an impressive boost of power. It make lancer very powerful car

Sports Mode with Paddle Shifters
Sports Mode lets you enjoy the racing feel of changing gears with a 6-step shift control that still provides the
convenience of an automatic transmission. For even greater control, paddle shifters built directly into the steering wheel make shifting as easy as a single press of your finger.

Lancer GT features a more muscular set of 18” tires for improved grip, cornering and overall performance. A cool set of lightweight alloy wheels doesn’t hurt, either. The GT model is equipped with 16” disc brakes to the front and rear, providing controlled stopping power for dependable everyday performance. The brake booster further increases stopping power, especially for emergency stops.

4-Wheel Independent Suspension
Incorporating front MacPherson struts and a rear multi-link system, Lancer makes sure work of unpredictable conditions. Responding exactly as needed, the independent suspension keeps all four wheels firmly on the ground for performance that’s as reliable as it is comfortable.

Safety
Lancer is available with front dual airbag system to provide protection.Lancer uses advanced front airbags with driver’s seat position sensors and front passenger’s seat weight sensors. The information gathered from these systems is used to tailor the airbag deployment energy in the event of a collision.

Lancer safety-consciousness starts at the very beginning, with the construction of the RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body. This design protects occupants by employing extensive front and rear crumple zones to absorb impact energy before it can be transferred to the cabin. The cabin and doors, meanwhile, have been constructed with a highly rigid frame and reinforced beams to redirect energy and damage around and away from the occupants.
